so today

i received a call from the doctors office explaining that the doctor won't be able to see me tomorrow because he's sick. the purpose of the visit, outside of seeing how my hand is doing, was, more importantly, to remove my stitches. my skin is dry and tight and those stitches were creating awful little tears in my skin. so, i had my dad remove them. it hurt like hell because dude put them in so tight, seriously, tight. well, they're out! some snips and a little blood and i can move my thumb! gang bangin!

i kind of like it but the green is getting to me in the worst way.

since it has been painted green i get a lot of really interesting comments on it.

'is that a plastic bike?'-this came from a mid 50's woman wearing flip flopf in the middle of march outside in chicago because she just got her toe nails done.
and to top it off, today i got, 'that bike makes me think of fisherprice toys.'

two things to consider

ok, so because of my busted hand, i am out of commission for a couple weeks but there are two road trips that are certainly worth going to. and my hand will be better for at least one of them.


the first trip is for the cmwc in toronto.
the dates are june 13th-16th. a little short notice maybe.


the second, which my hand will be all set for, is the nacc in chicago. the dates for these events are august 29th-31st. i can fit two more in my car and places to stay are more than certain. if you'd like to arrange to go, get at me.

let's make these

fatyo 6th anniversary watch

i love wrist watches. however, i find it really unfortunate that they seem to be a dying breed with cell phones and other digital 'necessities' that eliminate the need for a watch. i find a watch extremely attractive and, overall, timeless. while this fatyo watch wields a high class sword, it does no have diving capablities, so don't expect it to out due your sub-mariner.
