seattle wall of death
i've seen this picture floating around various blogs in the past few days and feel obligated to make a comment. i'm not from seattle, have never visited seattle.
i do, however, feel for these dudes in losing their spot. i remember living in chicago when all the spots we used to shredd became of interest to the police or others that, for whatever reason, felt that we were somehow infringing on the rights of others or were a threat to national security. so those spots closed. i like shredding the ren cen here in detroit, but it seems that's becoming more and more difficult each time we ride it. certain parking lots, and intersections, have suddenly become mindful of out presence and made it difficult for us to enjoy ourselves. on the flip, there's something to be said about the new spot, that new location that's entirely foreign to you and holds the thrill of unexplored territory. i'm sure these cats have found it and exploited the fun that's held within. or if they haven't, i have faith that it's just around the corner waiting to be discovered. good luck.
this sounds like fun
i think i'll be hitting this up whilst in portland.

but more importantly, where can i grab that rim? there's been a lot of talk in the past months about them, then it seemed things quieted down...anyone know anything?

holy shit
CLP - Ain't Nobody Cooler (Video edit) - BNR27 from CLP - Chris de Luca vs Phon.o on Vimeo.
close yo' mouf
and they're blue!
a new protype from sugino. the set comes with three cogs, 16/17/18 and a lockring. there is no threading on the cog, only a tooth. you install the cog laterally with only the lockring threaded, held on by pressure. no use for a chain whip is nice, or rotofix method at that. according to trackosarus, attempts like these had been attempted in the past but with little success.
we're on the map!
too bad it has to be this.
first ghost bike to appear in the detroit area. i was kind of stunned when i saw it. i knew exactly what it. i'm surprised by the reaction of people and what they think of these sorts of things.
